Secret Tree

There’s a tree that is one of the best secret spots in Vancouver. This tree, perfect for climbing and popular with the locals, has branches that are perfectly spaced out for easy access to its upper reaches (if you’re feeling brave).
This tree, this spectacular tree and the wonderful people who pimped it out, also has a bucket, attached to string, that allows you to bring any refreshments that you so desire up into the highest branches.

Perfect for a first date, perfect for a 100th date, perfect for a couple of friends who just want to sit around somewhere other than the bar. Perfect for adventurers and climbers and those who are slightly afraid of heights but love trying new things.
Check out this secret of Vancouver for yourself. We’re not going to tell you exactly where it is (to add to the adventure!) but when you get there, you’ll know….

Celebration of Light

Amazing, unbelievable, awesome! These are just some adjectives that we always hear when we talk about the Celebration of light. I prefer unforgettable.

When you hear the word ‘fireworks’ in Vancouver, you don’t think of a celebration for a new year. Fireworks in Vancouver means an annual fireworks competition presented by Honda. The spectacle is also called ‘Symphony of Fire’ by gathering lights and music.

In 2013 edition, The Fireworks is receiving again the Red Bull Air show. Yeah, the show is back and better than ever. The pilot Pete McLeod promised 2 stunning shows above English Bay.

This year, Canada is competing against the United Kingdom and Thailand. Let’s hoot for a great spectacle and the consequent victory of Canada.
Jenny, a teacher in Vancouver English Centre, describe the fireworks as:’’ Spectacular and super awesome. They are getting better every year!”

Don’t miss the opportunity to see and hear the Celebration of Light. Bring your camera, bring yours friends. Vancouver has an event that you can’t forget, on July 31.
See you there!

Event: Celebration of Light

Date: July/31/13

Localization: English Bay

Night in Vancouver:

The variety of places that you can visit during the night is so big.

To sum it up, it's amazing music, good vibes, peace, love, unity and respect. Not to be confused with raves full of adolescent children waving glow sticks and wearing bright colored baggy pants. Although we respect that culture, all our events will be geared toward a legal and mature crowd (19-40).

Granville street, Kitsilano beach, English beach and Gastown could be some examples.

Usually the range of prices for tickets should be between $9-$15 dollars. And alcoholic beverages could be between $5-$10 dollars.
